Jeff David didn't set out to build a training academy. He set out to find pool leaks that nobody else could find -- and got very good at it.

Over two decades of working South Florida pools, Jeff developed a systematic approach to leak detection that most pool professionals never learn. Not because they aren't capable -- but because the training simply didn't exist. You pieced it together from watching others, from trial and error, from expensive mistakes on jobs that went sideways.

Method, he's teaching what he did on someone's pool last Tuesday. Not what used to work. Not theory from a textbook. The current system, from active field hours.

Why the H.U.N.T.E.R. Method

After years of doing this work, Jeff noticed a pattern. The technicians who struggled weren't bad at their jobs -- they were working without a system. They knew how to use pressure gauges. They'd done dye testing. But they had no framework for what to test first, what the results meant, or when to move on.

The H.U.N.T.E.R. Method is the system Jeff built for himself, refined over thousands of field hours. It covers all four sources of pool water loss -- environmental, equipment, plumbing, and shell -- in a sequenced diagnostic process that produces consistent, defensible results on every job.

Over 25 pool professionals from across the United States have completed LBA training -- including technicians who flew in from California for the 2-Day Ride-Along. Jeff is an active member of the Florida Swimming Pool Association Palm Beach Chapter Board of Directors.
