Use a structured prompt

Give the AI a clear structure to follow. Something like: customer name and pool description, confirmed findings with supporting test results, suspected conditions with supporting observations, areas that were not testable and why, recommendations, and any limitations noted during the evaluation. A consistent prompt produces a consistent draft every time.

Review and correct before sending

Read every sentence. Check that confirmed findings are actually confirmed by the test result documented. Check that suspected conditions are labeled as suspected - not stated as fact. Check that limitations are present. Correct any language that overstates certainty or understates a limitation. This step is not optional.

Keep the four-category language intact

Every pool leak detection report should use the four finding categories: Confirmed, Suspected, No Leak Observed, and Inaccessible or Untestable. AI may collapse these or use different language. The review step ensures the correct categories appear correctly in the final report regardless of how the draft was written.
